The programme commenced with a speech by Dr. Kesavan, HOD Chemistry at Tamil Nadu Fisheries University in Nagapattinam. He spoke about the career opportunities in research and the courses offered by the fisheries university. He highlighted the importance of the fisheries sector in India and enlightened the students about the various research areas and job prospects in this field. His speech was informative and inspiring, encouraging the students to consider a career in fisheries.
Following Dr. Kesavan's speech, Mr. Anmol, Assistant Commandant Indian Coast Guard Karaikal, addressed the students. He provided insights into the career opportunities available in defense and the coast guard. Mr. Anmol elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of the coast guard and shared his personal experiences. His speech motivated the students to consider a career in the defense sector, emphasizing the sense of duty and the opportunity to serve the nation.
Our correspondent and principal also addressed the students and emphasized the importance of following one's passion while choosing a career. After the speeches, the admit cards for the class X board examinations were distributed to the students.
