RakshaBandhan, a much awaited Indian traditional festival of sisterly and brotherly respect was celebrated in our school on 30th August 2023.
To make this day memorable, a special assembly was conducted for the classes IX to XII. During assembly boys and girls were made to stand facing each other and tied Rakhis. Children were told about the sacred bond between brother and sister by the principal during his special address.
He also emphasized the importance and the origin of the celebration. It was a delightful celebration for students which made the environment full of joy and love. Rakhis were distributed to the students of class KG to VIII in their classroom. They all decorated their tiny hands with Rakhi and expressed their true brother and sisterhood for each other.
